Frankie's Sports Bar & Grill

If you ever find yourself near Stamford Bridge and crave a place that combines vibrant sports energy with a crowd-pleasing menu, then Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill might just be your new go-to. Nestled right inside the iconic Chelsea FC stadium, this bar isn’t just for football fans - though you’ll definitely find plenty - it’s a social hub for anyone who enjoys bold flavours, cold drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere for live sports.

From the moment you walk in, the place feels alive. The walls are adorned with big screens showing everything from Premier League action to UFC nights. Whether it’s midweek Champions League drama or Sunday showdowns, Frankie’s delivers front-row viewing paired with top-tier bar fare. You’ll instantly notice the rooftop seating too - a chilled escape perfect for warmer evenings or for those who enjoy a pint under the stars.

The menu? Oh, it’s stacked. And not just with burgers, though those alone deserve a shoutout. The Juicy Lucy Burger lives up to its name with melted cheese bursting from within the patty, while the Sports Bar Burger delivers that no-fuss, extra-satisfying American classic vibe. Don’t skip the Jalapeño Cheese Fries either - cheesy, spicy, crunchy - the holy trifecta of bar snacks.

For something on the lighter side, the Blackened Salmon offers a flavourful, protein-packed option without skimping on satisfaction. Or, dive into the King Prawn Tacos - zesty, juicy, and surprisingly fresh for a bar setting. Meanwhile, veggie lovers will appreciate creative picks like the Bangkok Bad Boy Tofu (VG), a spicy, tangy delight that proves Frankie’s knows how to cater to plant-based diners too.

Frankie’s drink game is on point. The beer selection is wide, chilled, and crafted to please both craft lovers and lager loyalists. Cocktails? The Porn Star Martini remains a fan-favourite, especially during happy hour. And if you’re just looking for a glass of wine while catching the match, the bar’s great wine list ensures you’re covered there as well.

One thing that sets Frankie’s apart is its ability to balance crowd energy with genuine comfort. Despite being a hotspot for sports enthusiasts, it also welcomes solo diners and small groups looking for a place to grab lunch or a relaxed dinner. The chicken burger and pulled pork sandwiches are lunchtime hits, while the pepperoni pizza and salami-topped slices are perfect for sharing with a pint in hand.

Service here is as casual and friendly as the vibe - attentive without being overbearing. And accessibility has clearly been considered too, with wheelchair-accessible entrances and toilets, making it an inclusive space for all kinds of guests.

You can grab a takeaway if you're in a rush, or simply soak in the full dine-in experience while chatting with friends or cheering alongside other fans. While there’s no delivery service, most people agree the on-site experience is what really makes Frankie’s special. After all, how often do you get to eat a chocolate brownie or a Belgian waffle while hearing a whole room erupt in cheers over a last-minute goal?

And let’s not forget about the live performances - from DJs spinning to live acoustic sets, they’ve added an extra layer of entertainment that transforms this bar into something more than just a pre-match pitstop. You’re just as likely to visit on a Saturday night for music as you are for a match.

At Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill, it’s not just about what’s on the screen - it’s about good food, cold drinks, and an atmosphere that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re here for the fish and chips, the cocktails, or the sheer thrill of being in London’s sportiest bar, one thing’s for sure - Frankie’s scores on every front.

We loved this place! Our server Karolina took excellent care of us, and the chef, Amaro, is amazing. It's a sports bar at the Chelsea FC stadium, but don't underestimate it.

Absolutely amazing food. The steak was done amazingly. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Can't wait to book up again for next season. The starters was lovely, the mains was lovely, and the dessert was perfection. Thank you to the Frankies staff. See you again soon

After a thrilling visit to Chelsea Football Club, we decided to refuel at Frankies, a lively sports bar that promises hearty fare over haute cuisine. And let me tell you, it was the perfect pitstop following our exploration of the football club. Our group of six opted for the classics: burgers, chips (fries), tacos, and a round of drinks. Each dish was executed flawlessly, hitting the spot after our active outing. The service was commendable, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met promptly. Moreover, Frankies boasts ample seating, catering to both large gatherings and more intimate parties. Sporting enthusiasts will find themselves right at home amidst the plethora of TVs and the bustling bar atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to catch a game while indulging in a satisfying meal. For those visiting the club, I highly recommend making a detour to Frankies for a well-deserved break. However, if your itinerary doesn't include the football club, London offers a myriad of dining options, so I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit. Nevertheless, it's undeniably a solid choice for a casual and enjoyable dining experience. All in all, Frankies earns my enthusiastic recommendation for a visit.

Lovely lunch before a tour. Felt very welcomed and looked after by the fantastic FoH staff. A decent selection of vegan options, would love to see more in the future though.
